Professional Education
The Winchester Institute will be developing several professional courses in response to market needs. Four which have been identified and are under development are:
- Real Estate Development Financing
- Mixed Use Master Planned Communities
- Hospitality Real Estate
- Affordable Rental Housing
Degree Programs
Auburn has several Graduate Degree programs to offer professionals in the Real Estate industry.
The Master of Real Estate Development: This is a joint program offering between the Harbert College of Business and the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. It is a 5 semester program offered in a combination of 1 week residencies on campus bridged with distance learning. There are three domestic Field Studies and one International Field Study included as part of the curriculum. This program has been rated the #1 program for Real Estate in the country for three years in a row by Intelligent.com.
Undergraduate Minor in Real Estate Development: a collaboration between the Harbert College of Business and the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. The minor is available to students majoring in Finance, Architecture and Building Science.
An Undergraduate Concentration in Real Estate Development is currently available to Finance majors.
